Going on Tour & Preorder Help!

Well, well, well, if it isn’t my old friend slash enemy, the newsletter. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing it, and I like to imagine you (non-creepily) giggling and rubbing your hands together in a “let’s do this” way when it shows up in your inbox…but some part of me is like: DON’T ANNOY THEM. Too much of anything is a bad thing. And yet…here I am. Writing again. Only, this time with BIG and URGENT news.

Let’s start with the unfun news: preorder numbers need to be popping off and I don’t know if it’s the time of year or I’m not doing enough or or or…but I could use your help. So. Here’s what I’ll do. It’s a low-key preorder campaign. First of all, if you preorder from these stores: An Unlikely Story, Love & Legends Books, Mysterious Galaxy, and Grand Gestures Books, not only will I sign your copies (because that’ll be the next order of business), I will send along some commissioned art and bookmarks. But no matter if you shop your local Indie or B&N, if you screenshot your receipt and write me on my website, I will send the 7th person (and 14th, 21st…) a signed, annotated copy of any of my books and a sneak peek into my next story, A Taste of Memories. I will need your receipts before February 3rd. Tell your family, friends, enemies, people on the subway! EVERYONE. I’ll announce this in the New Year, but I’m giving you all the heads up first.

Now onto the second bit of news! I’m jumping across the ocean with a suitcase full of tightly packed clothes and a heart full of dreams––that’s right, Until the Clock Strikes Midnight is going on tourrrrr. PSA: I'll probably bring German snacks if any of you show up to one of the events. That said, it’ll be TWO weeks of madness. The first week is this:

Yep. It’s REALLY happening! I don’t have the event links yet and I don’t even have the in-convo partners all confirmed either, BUT the stores, flights, and hotels are booked. And in Portland, I even made solo dinner reservations. I’ve never been there before!! Please, please come if you’re in the area. Seriously. Setting this all up from Germany was a task. Also, I’d really love to meet all of you!

That said, Fierce Reads will be announcing the official tour with three other fabulous authors: Petra Lord, Caroline Bonin, SG Prince on their social media accounts. We will be stopping in Portland (again), Utah, Chicago, and Kansas City, MO. Here is the graphic:

And as if that isn’t enough: I’ll be at Love Y’all in Atlanta too. There will be all sorts of fun things going on there, including a bookstore bus tour with me on that Friday (February 13th) night.

Alright. That’s it. Pretty big stuff, right? I mean. Begging for preorders but also low-key setting up a preorder campaign? Check. Cool multi-city tour? Check. It’s going to be amazing or terrible (personally since I’m terrified of flopping, please help me not flop!).
